| An idyllic spot in Gothenburg’s northern archipelago Hönö Hotel is a family-owned hotel located out on the outskirts of Gothenburg’s northern archipelago. It provides the settings for creative meetings, whether you're here in private or attending a conference. We have 13 double rooms and one single room in the main building, as well as an annexe in Klåva harbour. Here we offer both hotel (we make the beds, clean, and serve breakfast which is available up at the hotel - about a 300-metre walk), and hostel accommodation, where guests can bring their own sheets, towels and clean their own rooms. All rooms have their own shower and toilet. There is a communal kitchen, equipped with fridge and facilities to cook simpler meals. Two double bedrooms, two four-bed rooms and two five-bed rooms are available, in total 49 beds.
We have a dining room for up to over 100 guest, a veranda and a kitchen where we invest in a good and exiting food. Whether you visit us in private or as part of a conference group, the islands and Hönö Hotel have much to offer.

Hönö Hönö is the largest island in the northern archipelago of Gothenburg. Öckerö municipality comprises 10 inhabited islands with Rörö to the far north and Fotö in the south as Bohus County's most southerly point. It takes only half an hour from Gothenburg city centre to reach the yellow ferry on Lilla Varholmen. After a 12 minute ferry ride, you reach the archipelago and are on Hönö. Replace the big city with the lovely idyllic archipelago full of fresh air, surging waves and the ocean all around you. On the islands, you can enjoy wonderful scenery, great shopping and, not least, cosy restaurants and cafes. If you have a little more time to spend, a day or two to explore the islands a little longer is highly recommended. Hönö Hotel has the overnight accommodation you need, whether you want to relax in a hotel or if you would rather take care of yourself in our Klåvabo hostel, which is also open to guests. The new owners, Camilla and Christopher with their staff welcome you to the islands and to Hönö Hotel.
